Promotion Announcements 2022
We are pleased to announce the following promotions!
As 2021 came to a close, we wanted to recognize our team for a wonderful year and all the hard work they put into servicing our clients. One of the things our firm likes to focus on is ensuring that our people are growing. Specifically, there are four people in our firm that we recognized for their success and promoted them to higher positions. We are so excited for them and look forward to the continued growth of our team. As we get into the tax season, we wanted to make you aware of these team accomplishments.
Ashley Lombardo, CPA
Manager of Accounting & Tax Services
Ashley joined our firm in 2020 as an accounting and tax senior with a good amount of public accounting experience. Ashley has consistently demonstrated her vast knowledge of both accounting and tax. She possesses a very entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic as she continues to go the extra mile for our clients to find ways to contribute to their success. She came to our firm with lofty expectations and has demonstrated she is ready to provide services at a higher level. As a result, Ashley has been promoted to Manager of Accounting & Tax Services. In this position, she has started taking a lead role in managing the engagements for our clients while being a mentor for a number of the people on our team.
Katrina Brink, CPA
Senior Accountant
Katrina started off her career in nursing where she was highly successful. Then, one day, she decided to totally change careers and pursued another degree in accounting. Since joining our firm, Katrina has focused on and gained a lot of experience in both accounting and tax along with providing family office services. In addition, during the past year, she prepared for and passed all four parts of the CPA exam. She has also consistently shown an incredible work ethic. As a result, Katrina has been promoted to Senior Accountant where she is now taking on more responsibilities and a more significant role in the accounting and tax services for our clients while providing guidance to our staff accountants.
David Specker
Senior Tax Accountant
David had a background in tax and asset management when he joined our firm in 2020. During his time at our firm, he has focused on tax planning and preparation and on family office services. David has consistently demonstrated how much he enjoys helping other people on the team or clients figure out issues and he always makes himself available to assist others. In addition, he is very dedicated at solving problems and will not stop until he has something figured out. He truly leads by example. As a result, David has been promoted to Senior Tax Accountant where he is now taking on more responsibilities and a more significant role in the tax and family office service areas for our clients while providing guidance to our staff accountants.
Jennifer Ellis
Office Manager
Jennifer joined our firm 6 years ago as one of our administrative assistants. During her time at the firm, she has worked at the front desk ensuring our clients are being well served and has enjoyed getting to know them over the years. In addition, she has gladly taken on any tasks assigned to her and has continued to take on more responsibilities. Over the past year, we have noticed that she basically runs the office, and our team relies heavily on her for a number of things. Therefore, we were excited to promote her to Office Manager. You will not see her at the front desk anymore as she has now moved into an office, but you can count on her making sure our office is running smoothly and our clients are continuing to be well taken care of.
